PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The E-Z LOK heavy wall self locking thread insert adds self-locking M12-1.75 internal threads to metal parts. The insert repairs stripped or worn threads and reinforces tapped holes so bolts and screws hold securely.
Each insert is made of 18-8 stainless steel with a plain finish and right-hand threads. The outside carries a 3/4-10 thread with a 2A fit, and the inside carries an M12-1.75 thread with a 2B fit, combining inch and metric systems in one part. Installation uses a 21/32 in drill bit and a 3/4-10 tap, with a maximum hole diameter of 16.6624 mm. The insert diameter is 19.1 mm and the overall length is 17 mm. Model number 653-12-PK5.
